The main purpose for using the dual action sander is when a smoother uniform finish is desired. Common applications are finish sanding, sanding aluminum, and working on fiberglass. With the push of a button, the sander converts from a standard rotation sander to a random orbit. There is a wide selection of abrasive discs and pads available. Hard mounted, fixed dust shrouds are optional.
